Biographies
Bill
Houston has accumulated more than 35 years of specialized energy
industry leadership experience since receiving his Bachelor of Science
degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
Serving in a variety of executive roles for leading companies, he
devoted more than 23 years of his career to the issues surrounding
deregulation of natural gas.
From 1979 to 1986, Bill held various
executive level positions at Northern Natural Gas, and then founded
U.S. Gas Marketing, where he served as President from 1986 – 1992. Bill
was one of the Principle founders of US Energy Services, in 1992, where
he served in a leadership position until 2003.
With
more than three years of energy industry experience, J.P. Houston
joined Houston & Associates from Energy Management Solutions, an
energy demand services consultancy. J.P. earned his Bachelor of Arts
degree in Liberal Arts from the University of St. Thomas, and a
Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of
Minnesota.
J.P. is currently working towards an MBA at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
Shanen
joined Houston & Associates in November 2007 as Manager
Administrative Support. Previously, she was a programmer analyst at
Sungard/Pentamation and prior to that at American Management Systems
(AMS). Earlier, she served six years at PPG Industries as a
programmer/analyst and software applications developer, as well as a
Production Engineer.
Shanen received her BS degree in
Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh and then completed her MBA
with concentration in information systems at Temple University.
